Last week all Seniors groups had a chance to find out a lot about our Polish national treasure – amber.
During a great hands-on workshop they created some beautiful amber encrusted decorations and participated in a fascinating lecture, during which they learned – amongst other amber-related facts – about the origin of amber, the largest specimens, names of amber in other languages, physical and chemical properties of amber. Big thanks to Akademia Bursztynu for such a great lesson!
