Ms. Aleksandra Przybyszewska-Stępniak

I graduated from clinical psychology in English at the SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw. I am bilingual and grew up in the Middle East. During my studies, I gained experience working in foundations and kindergartens for children with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism. I completed internships at the psychiatric ward for children and at the Synapsis Psychotherapy Center. I also have a certificate in Social Skills Training. As a SST therapist I had groups for children and teenagers (8-15 years old). All these places and experiences have taught me so much and paved my direction toward further training. Since graduation, I have been working as a school psychologist at international schools and as a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and as a Safeguarding Leader. I work at the Warsaw Center for Psychotherapy and Psychiatry as a psychologist and psychotherapist for children and adolescents. In my daily work, I pay special attention to Third-Culture Children. Currently, I am in the penultimate year of postgraduate studies at the School of Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents – ReGeneration & Laboratory of Psychoeducation in the psychodynamic approach.
