Admission regulations at The Canadian Middle School of Warsaw for 2016/2017 school year

1. The condition of admission to the Middle School Grade 1 is submitting the elementary school certificate of graduation and the final elementary school examination result to the secretary’s office, as well as the subject grade average of minimum 4.00 and “good” behaviour grade. (This provision also applies to students of The Canadian Elementary School of Warsaw, whose parents declared continuation of enrollment).

2. A student can be admitted to a higher grade on the basis of:

• A certificate of graduation from a lower grade of a public school or a non-public school with the status of a public school of the same type, as well as a copy of a grade sheet issued by the student’s previous school;
• In case of a Polish student returning from abroad – a certificate issued by a foreign school and the latest school certificate issued in Poland on the basis of the total years of the student’s schooling;
• In case of a foreign student – a certificate issued by a foreign school on the basis of the total years of the student’s schooling.

3. Another condition of admission is the result of the qualifying test covering the elementary school core curriculum in the following subjects: Polish language, English language, and Mathematics.

4. The admission decision is made by a committee appointed by the school principal.
